Easter Chocolate Nest Blondie (Single-Serve Ramekin Bake)

Easter Chocolate Nest Blondie

A Fun Easter Treat with a Chocolate Egg Surprise

Some Easter desserts are all about flavour, while others add a little bit of playful charm to the table.

This Easter Chocolate Nest Blondie manages to do both.

The base is a soft, buttery blondie — the vanilla cousin of a brownie — baked in a single ramekin and studded with melted chocolate pieces. Once baked, the top becomes the perfect place to create a small “Easter nest” using chocolate eggs.

The result is a dessert that feels festive, comforting, and just a little bit fun.

Best of all, it’s designed as a single-serve bake, which means you can enjoy a warm Easter treat without ending up with an entire tray of leftovers.

It’s also a fantastic way to use up those mini Easter eggs that tend to appear around the kitchen this time of year.

Part of the Easter Baking for One Series

If you’ve ever wanted to enjoy Easter baking without ending up with a week’s worth of leftovers, this series is for you.

In Easter Baking for One, we’re taking classic Easter treats and scaling them down into small-batch, solo-friendly recipes that are perfect for one person or a small household.

Expect:

  • Warm spices
  • Small baking dishes
  • Simple ingredients
  • Fresh homemade treats without waste

Why This Recipe Works for Solo Bakers

Traditional blondie recipes usually produce a large tray of dessert squares.

This recipe simplifies things into a ramekin-sized blondie, which is perfect for solo kitchens.

It’s:

✔ Baked in one small dish
✔ Ready in under 25 minutes
✔ A fun way to use Easter chocolate eggs
✔ Rich and satisfying without making too much

The slightly soft centre and golden edges make it the perfect dessert to eat warm.

Ingredients (1 Blondie)

¼ cup plain flour
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp white sugar
Pinch of salt
¼ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp milk
¼ tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp chopped chocolate (milk or dark)

Nest Topping

3–4 mini chocolate eggs
1 tsp chocolate spread or melted chocolate

Optional:

1 tbsp chopped nuts

Equipment

  • Small ramekin or mini baking dish
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon

Instructions

Step 1 – Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Lightly grease a ramekin or small baking dish.

Step 2 – Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a small bowl combine:

  • flour
  • brown sugar
  • white sugar
  • salt
  • baking powder

Stir until evenly mixed.

Step 3 – Add the Wet Ingredients

Add:

  • melted butter
  • milk
  • vanilla extract

Mix until a thick batter forms.

Fold in the chopped chocolate.

Step 4 – Fill the Ramekin

Spoon the batter into the prepared ramekin and smooth the top.

Step 5 – Bake

Bake for 18–20 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden but the centre is still soft.

Allow the blondie to cool for 5–10 minutes.

Step 6 – Create the Easter Nest

Drizzle the top with chocolate spread or melted chocolate.

Place the mini chocolate eggs in the centre to create a small “nest” decoration.

Nutritional Highlights

This dessert is definitely a treat, but the small portion keeps things balanced.

Chocolate may provide:
